Crowded Houses / 1985년 오스트레일리아 빅토리아 멜버른에서 결성된 록밴드이다

창립 멤버는 뉴질랜드인 Neil Finn(보컬리스트, 기타리스트, 주요 작곡가)과

호주인Paul Hester (드럼)와 Nick Seymour(베이스)였습니다.

훗날 밴드 멤버로는 닐 핀의 동생인 팀핀과 아들 리암과 엘로이,

미국인 마크하트와 맷 셔로드가 있으며,닐 핀과 닉 시모어가 유일한 고정 멤버이다.

1985년부터 1996년까지 활동한 Crowded House는 호주와 뉴질랜드에서

일관된 상업 및 비평적 성공을 거두었습니다. 호주와 영국에서 앨범 차트 1위를 달성했고,

미국 시장에서는 1986년 나왔던 Don't Dream It's Over가 빌보드 싱글 차트 2위에 오른 것이

최고 기록이다. 크라우디드 하우스는 1996년 멜버른과 시드니에서 열린

Farewell to the World 콘서트를 포함하여 그 해에 여러 고별 콘서트를 한 후 해산되었습니다
