Snowy White (1948 영국 데본,반 스테이플 출생) 

Pink Floyd 및 Thin Lizzy의 백킹 기타리스트로, 1980년 유럽과 미국을 거쳐

밴드와 함께 투어에 처음 초대되었으며, 

Pink Floyd의 록오페라 The Wall 쇼에서 연주한 것으로 유명합니다.

1983년에 발매한  솔로 오퍼링 "Bird of Pradise"로 데뷔하여 화이트의 가장 큰 히트곡이 되어 

1984년 6월 영국 싱글차트 톱2  에 오르기도 하였습니다

화이트는 와이트 섬에서 자랐으며 열 살 때 부모로부터 첫 기타를 받아

독학으로 기타리스트가 되었다고합니다
