그룹 Free는 70년대 영국의 블루스 록밴드로 68년, 런던에서 결성되었다여타 블루스 록밴드보다

블루스의 향이 더 짙은 음악을 했으며 블루스록의 계보를 잇는 밴드 중의 하나다.

특히  폴 로저스의  보컬은 당대에 정평이 날 정도로  유명하다.

이 밴드의 보컬 폴 로저스는 후에 그룹을 탈퇴하여  또다른 블루스 록밴드인 배드컴퍼니를 만든다.
