크래식 연주가 출신의 아티스트 Oscar Benton은 주로 네덜란드를 무대로 60년대부터 활동했던 블루스 연주자입니다.
활동은 1967년 Oscar Benton Blues Band란 이름으로 시작해서, 데뷔 당시 I Feel So Good라는 흥겨운 곡을 히트시켰고

그 후 1974년 해체 후 몇 명의 멤버가 모여서 Barrelhouse란 밴드를 결성.
1940년대에 처음 만들어진 이 곡을 Oscar Benton은 1973년에 발표했지만 당시에는 별다른 호응을 이끌어내지 못했습니다. 그러다가 1981년 Alain Delon이 주연한 프랑스 영화 <Pour La Peau DUn Flic /형사 이야기)에 이 곡이 쓰이면서 선풍적 인기를 얻었습니다. 프랑스는 물론, 이탈리아, 불가리아, 일본, 이스라엘, 모로코, 네덜란드 등지에서 차트 수위를 장식했고 해당 지역에서는 Oscar Benton의 앨범이 재발매되었습니다
